Laguna Niguel Emergency Plumber, 24/7
Water finds the weak point when nobody is awake to notice it. That is when most of these calls land, and it is why the first move happens on the phone: dispatch talks you to the valve while the truck is already rolling. Sixty minutes to a Laguna Niguel driveway, holidays and 3am included.
- 60-min response, 24/7/365
- Stop-the-water on first arrival
- Written estimate before any work

Worth knowing up front: we are an emergency water and drain crew. Pool and spa systems, irrigation, and natural-gas lines are not ours. Burst supply lines, failed water heaters, drain and sewer backups, and leaks inside the house are.
Why so much of this city reaches failure age in the same few years.
Most cities have their housing spread across five or six decades. Laguna Niguel does not. 12,094 of its roughly 27,600 homes were built in the 1980s, with 5,647 more through the nineties, which means the fittings, valves and appliances inside them were installed within a few years of each other. Angle stops, braided supply lines, pressure regulators and water heaters all have a service life, and here a great many of them ran out at once.
Pressure is the accelerant. The city rises from sea level to 936 feet at Niguel Hill, so the supply is divided into zones, and a house low in its zone lives with a higher static pressure than one further up. When the regulator that is supposed to absorb that finally sticks open, the whole house feels it at once. A washing-machine hose, a toilet supply and a heater nipple are the three things that tend to go first, and they rarely do it while anyone is watching.
Which is why the busiest window is overnight. The call comes from someone standing in a hallway with water spreading and no idea which valve to turn. So the phone advice starts before the truck does, and the truck itself carries what these houses actually fail on rather than a generic load.
No Trip Charge
Free diagnosis on every emergency call. No callout fee, no after-hours premium just to show up.
Truck Rolls Day or Night
Burst pipes don't keep business hours. We isolate the line, cap the water, and stop the damage before it spreads.
Same-Trip Repair
Common emergency parts ride on the truck. Most burst-pipe, heater, and angle-stop emergencies are fixed before we leave.
The call-outs this city generates after midnight
Six failures, one underlying event: the house is losing water it cannot hold, or it has stopped receiving any. The sequence never varies. Contain the loss, identify the component, price it on paper, then fix it.
Burst Pipe & Pinhole Leak
Aged copper that has finally split, a shutoff that gave up under its own pressure, a laundry hose that let go. The line comes out of service, the ruined length is removed, and its replacement goes in during the same visit. Burst pipe repair in Laguna Niguel is normally finished before the truck leaves.
- Line taken out of service at once
- Ruined length removed and replaced
- Drywall opened at the pipe and nowhere else
Main Shutoff & PRV Failure
The regulator that absorbs zone pressure is the component most likely to end an evening badly. Stuck open, it hands the house whatever the zone happens to be carrying. A main that has frozen solid causes the opposite problem. Both get exchanged on arrival.
- Regulator or main valve exchanged
- Standing pressure measured afterward
- Curb-side isolation organized where needed
Water Heater Emergency
Cold showers on a Sunday, a tank draining itself across the garage, a relief valve discharging. Forty, fifty and seventy-five gallon units are stocked, together with the service parts a tankless unit tends to want.
- Tank exchanged within the day
- Tankless flushing, ignitors, sensors
- Seismic strapping and expansion tank to code
Drain & Sewer Backup
A bowl refilling and rising, waste arriving in a lower shower, several drains gurgling in sequence. The main line gets augered or jetted and then inspected on camera, all inside the one call.
- Auger, or 4,000 psi jetting
- Camera inspection of the main line
- Cleanout traced and opened up
Toilet, Faucet & Fixture Failure
A failed wax ring announcing itself on the ceiling below, a faucet that will not shut, a shower valve jammed on hot. Every one of these parts is stocked, so the visit that diagnoses them usually ends them.
- Wax rings, fill valves, supply lines
- Cartridges, stems and trim
- Toilets, faucets and shutoffs exchanged
Water Damage & Insurance Assist
Plenty of these ran unnoticed for hours, and there is ceiling material on the floor by the time anybody calls. The event is written up, the failed component photographed, and the priced scope sent to the insurer from here.
- Sudden and accidental wording drafted
- Component photographs and pressure readings
- Carrier billed directly where available
Three things happen before the truck reaches you.
Damage is mostly a function of delay, not of failure. Whatever split, the size of the bill depends on how many minutes pass before somebody closes the right valve. So the call itself is treated as part of the response, and the truck is already moving while it takes place.
From arrival onward the sequence is fixed: contain, diagnose, price on paper, repair. Nothing is opened or removed until that figure is in front of you.
Find the right shutoff, fast
The caller gets walked to whichever valve is nearest, and it varies by house: a fixture shutoff, the heater inlet, an exterior hose bib, or the main out front. Minutes saved at this step routinely translate into a ceiling that survives.
Kill power if needed
Where water is near outlets, near a furnace, or pooling above a finished ceiling, the breaker gets thrown before anyone arrives. If the heater is the origin, gas closes at the appliance and power at the panel.
Truck rolls with common parts aboard
Shutoffs, supply lines, PEX, heater fittings, wax rings, fill valves, cartridges and a drain machine are permanently stocked. Carrying them is what prevents a supply-house detour halfway through the night.
On-site contain & diagnose
The first two questions on arrival are whether the water is genuinely off and whether anything is still spreading. Only then does the failed component get named, which takes about five minutes on a split line and considerably longer on a blocked drain.
Written estimate, in your hand
No cutting, drilling, augering or replacing happens until the figure is written down and in front of you: the applicable rate, the parts, the labor, separated out. Where a claim is coming, the entries the carrier will scrutinize get marked.
Repair, test, document
Supply repairs are tested under pressure, drains are run to check flow, and heater exchanges get relief valve and gas pressure verified. Photographs of the failed component and the completed work go to you, and to the adjuster if there is one.
Most people wait too long. Water doesn't.
Hesitation is the expensive part. By the time the situation looks bad enough to justify a call, it has usually been getting worse for a while. When somebody does not call, it is nearly always one of six reasons.
So here is where we stand on each of them.
It's the middle of the night.
The line is staffed at every hour and trucks go out at every hour. Two in the morning gets the same answer as two in the afternoon.
I'm not sure it's serious enough.
If water is moving somewhere it should not be, it is worth the call. We will say honestly what needs doing tonight and what can safely wait for daylight.
I don't know where the leak is.
You do not need to. Finding it is the first thing we do on arrival. Nothing needs pulling apart before we get there.
I'm worried about the cost.
You get the scope and the price in writing first. No work begins without your approval, whatever time it is.
I already called someone and they can't come.
We can. Sixty minutes across Laguna Niguel and the surrounding area, at any hour of the night.
My insurance might cover this.
It may well. If it does, we handle the documentation: photographs, scope of work, and the conversation with your carrier.

Laguna Niguel neighborhoods where we run emergency calls weekly.
At two in the morning the arterials are the whole story. Crown Valley Parkway runs the length of the city and empties out overnight, with La Paz Road and Alicia Parkway crossing it and Moulton Parkway covering the eastern edge. That puts 92677 and 92607 inside the hour at the times these calls actually come in.

We handle the emergency claim. You don't.
A burst line or a failed heater can take out flooring, drywall and a ceiling in one night, which makes it one of the most closely examined claims an HO-3 policy will ever process. Carriers want the cause of loss in writing, photographs of the component that failed, the pressure reading and an itemized scope. Miss one and the file sits while the restoration trades wait.
That is the part we take off you. Not an invoice and best of luck. The whole claim, start to finish.
- Cause-of-loss documentation. Sudden and accidental wording, the component that failed, the build year, written the way carriers expect to read it.
- Photographs. The failed part, the damage around it, the pressure at the meter, the new install. Time-stamped, ordered, captioned.
- Scope of work. The emergency repair itemized against the rate that applied, plus any follow-up scope if something larger is recommended.
- Direct communication with your carrier. We speak to the adjuster instead of you doing it. Pushback gets answered, extra evidence gets sent.
- Follow-up scope when the emergency points at something bigger. If the failure traces back to a tired run or a line under the slab, the recommended repipe or reroute goes on the same claim rather than surfacing later.
What a Laguna Niguel emergency call actually costs.
Nobody can price an emergency from a web page, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. A two in the morning call might be a couple of hundred dollars for one angle stop, or several thousand for a heater replacement with code work attached. What we can set out is everything that moves it, so the estimate on the tablet is not a surprise.
What moves an emergency call up or down
What actually failed
An angle stop or a supply line is at the small end. A burst length of in-wall copper is more. A heater that has failed with sediment damage around it is more again. The first ten minutes on site tell us where you land.
Time of day & day of week
There is a daytime rate, an evening rate and an overnight and holiday rate. All three are on the tablet before you sign anything. Nothing is added afterward.
Access to the failure
An exposed stop is quick work. A pinhole behind a finished ceiling is not, because the ceiling has to open, the section has to come out, and the patch is part of the price.
Parts on the truck vs. parts run
The common failures are covered by what is already aboard. The occasional exception, an unusual heater size or a cartridge nobody stocks, needs a daylight run. That moves the schedule rather than the labor.
Water damage already present
Anything already soaked when we arrive is a separate scope, dry-out and reconstruction. It is documented for your claim, and it is not on the plumbing invoice.
At what point is this worth waking somebody up for?
When water is coming out and you cannot make it stop. A split supply line, a tank that has let go, waste climbing into a fixture, a main that will not turn. Add to that a meter ticking over with nothing running. Drips and a weeping faucet will keep till breakfast, and you will be told so on the phone rather than sold a night visit.
How long before somebody is on my driveway?
An hour, and usually less once the roads empty out. Crown Valley Parkway covers the length of Laguna Niguel, with La Paz Road and Alicia Parkway cutting across it, so a hillside address is no further away in practice than one down on the valley floor.
Nobody in this house knows where the shutoff is. What now?
Call, and stay on the line. You will be walked to it. On most houses here it sits outdoors on the wall facing the street, commonly within reach of a hose bib. Where it has corroded solid or been built over, the curb meter turns with a standard key, and every truck carries one.
My water pressure has always been high. Is that connected?
Very often, yes. The city climbs from sea level to 936 feet at Niguel Hill, so the supply runs in pressure zones and a house sitting low in its zone carries more of it. That is what pressure regulators are for. When one sticks open, the house sees the full zone pressure and the weakest fitting goes first, usually a supply line or a heater connection. We gauge the pressure on every emergency call for exactly this reason.
Is there a fee just for coming out at night?
No. Turning up and diagnosing costs nothing, and money only changes hands if the repair goes ahead. Evenings, overnights and holidays carry a higher labor rate, shown as its own line on the estimate before anyone signs. Daytime jobs run at the standard rate.
The water heater picked Sunday to quit. Can it be swapped today?
Almost certainly. Forty, fifty and seventy-five gallon gas and electric units are carried on the truck, plus the service parts tankless models tend to need. Same day is the usual outcome. Something unusual may wait on a Monday order, and you will hear that on arrival rather than afterward.
The house is original to the eighties. What is most likely to go first?
Not the copper, as a rule. It is the hardware attached to it. Shutoffs that have not moved in decades, braided hoses well past their life, the pressure regulator, and the water heater. More than four in ten of this city went up inside that one decade, so those parts reached the end of their run at roughly the same moment.
The guard gate is closed overnight. Does that slow anything?
Only where dispatch does not know. A fair number of neighborhoods here sit behind gates or run through an association. Pass the code or the guard’s details over on the call and the truck is on the list rather than stuck at the entrance, which is far and away the most avoidable delay on a night job.
Waste is climbing into the lowest shower. Where is that coming from?
Not from that fixture. It is the main lateral, the line carrying everything from the house out to the connection at the street, and roots or grease account for most of them. It gets cleared the same night, then put on camera afterward so you know whether jetting or a repair is what follows.
Water is off. How do you work out which pipe did it?
Shutting it down is step one, locating it is step two. That is leak detection: listening along the pipe and confirming with a gauge, rather than opening walls on a hunch. If the line that failed sits under the concrete, the durable answer is slab leak repair, which for us means a new line overhead rather than a hole in the floor.
Is a permit going to hold this up?
For part of the work, possibly. Heaters, gas and sewer line replacement usually go through the City of Laguna Niguel. Swapping something out like for like in an emergency, a split length of supply, a shutoff, a fixture, usually does not. You will know which applies, and what it adds, before anything begins.
Am I paying you and then chasing the insurer myself?
With most of the large carriers, no. The adjuster hears from us, the cause of loss and the priced scope go in from here, and the covered share is billed directly to the carrier. Your deductible is the part you settle.
